The project is implemented by cooperation of three university departments: Department of General Psychology, Department of Sociology and Department of criminal Law. Three different study programs are under updating and integration process now. Its aim is to strengthen university inner integration, widen cooperation networks among master program students, PhD students and lecturers.
Interdisciplinary criminology studies will be found on the basis of one institution – Vilnius University. External cooperation is assured by partnership with The Institute of Law. Institute is responsible for practice organization for master program students (Psychology, Sociology and Law).
The project group also cooperates with outstanding criminology studies and science institutions in Europe states: HEUNI (The European Institute for Crime Prevention and Control affiliated with the United Nations). There are also contacts with other academic institutions from Germany, Great Britain and Netherlands. Experts from these institutions will consult lecturers on creation of study programs. preparation of manuals.
