Insurance
Insurance Scheme:
The Erasmus Mundus grant includes
an insurance scheme which covers against risks related to health, accidents,
death, permanent invalidity and civil responsibility. The insurance scheme is
offered by the European Commission and does not imply any expenses for students
or for Erasmus Mundus consortia.
Cover takes effect two months prior to the start of the Erasmus Mundus
Masters course for which the student is enrolled and is valid until three months
after the end of the same Erasmus Mundus Masters course. It should, moreover,
cover all travel required by participation in an Erasmus Mundus Masters course.
Reasons for travel may be: departure for the destination where the Masters
course will take place, travel between the higher education establishments
offering the Masters course, return trip home following completion of the
Masters course. This Medical insurance covers more than 30.000
Euros
Further details on the conditions of the insurance scheme can be

All
students' family members have the possibility to receive an insurance at the
same conditions as the students but they have to pay for it themselves.
